Indoor Pistol League

Overview

The MRC Pistol League shoots NRA Precision Pistol, also known as Bullseye. This is a classic
marksmanship discipline where competitors fire one-handed at fixed paper targets with specific
time limits.

Gear

The league is limited to 22 caliber revolvers or 22 caliber semi-automatic pistols only.  Optics are allowed.

Distance

50 feet.

Course of Fire Description

• Event 1: Slow Fire - 10 shots fired in 10 minutes (B2 target).
• Event 2: Timed Fire - two 5 round strings fired in 20 seconds each (B3 target).
• Event 3: Rapid Fire - two 5 round strings fired in 10 seconds each (B3 target).
• Each of the above events are repeated three times for a total of nine targets.

Cost

The cost for the league is $5.00 per shoot. Punch cards are available for $50. You get ten punches and an eleventh shoot for free. Exact change is appreciated to purchase cards or pay cash.

Where and When

MRC Indoor Range

Tuesdays: Shooting begins at 1:00 PM with prep starting at 12:30 PM.

Fridays: Shooting begins at 6:30 PM with prep starting at 6:00 PM.

Postal League

In November, we begin practicing for the INLAND EMPIRE POSTAL by shooting 3 sets of Slow Fire, Time Fire and Rapid Fire targets.

Sign up for the Postal is mid Nov. The INLAND EMPIRE POSTAL is a 10 week National competition. It is put on by the Inland Empire Rifle and Pistol Association out of Spokane WA. with teams from all over the nation.  In the past we have entered 10 people in the Postal which is two 4 person teams with 2 extra shooters.

Each week for 10 weeks the highest 4 scores go on our Team 1 the next 4 go on our Team 2.  The next two best scores will serve as our extra shooters.
