MRC Membership Application Fillable Form
MRC is an NRA Affiliated Club: Members must maintain a personal NRA membership. If you are not currently an NRA member, the club can sign you up at a discounted rate.
Club Objectives: The objectives of the Marysville Rifle Club are to improve and encourage the furtherance of the knowledge and skills of its Members and the public in matters relating to the proper care and handling of firearms though education and training programs; the management of target shooting ranges and competitions; and to develop among its Members and the public, the qualities of leadership, loyalty, cooperation and good sportsmanship.
Pledge: To be an MRC Member, you must pledge and certify that you are not a member of any organization or group which has part of its program the desire to attempt to overthrow the government of the United States or any of its political subdivisions by force or violence and if admitted to membership will faithfully endeavor to fulfill the obligations of good sportsmanship, good citizenship and obligations and goals of the Marysville Rifle Club.
Applications for Membership: We are currently taking applications for the waiting list for membership. (The current wait list is approximately 18 – 24 months) More details and instructions are below and on the application.
Membership Year: The MRC Membership Year is from April 1st to March 31st.
Initiation fee: A one-time only Initiation fee of $300 is charged at orientation along with the first year’s annual dues.
Annual Dues: Regular Club Members pay an annual dues of $100 for a total of $400.00 due at joining. Seniors, (those 60 years of age or older or 55 years or older and retired), pay 1/2 annual dues of $75 for a total of $337.50 due at joining.
NRA Home Firearm Safety Class: New members are required to take the NRA Home Firearm Safety Class before Membership Cards and Keys are issued. This class is offered free of charge on the same day as Orientation.
Club Work Activities: Members are required to participate in at least 16 hours of Club work activities annually, or pay an additional $30 for each of the required 16 hours not worked upon renewal of membership. ($15/hour for Seniors)
MRC Voting Rights: The individual paying member has MRC voting rights. Spouse and any supported children under 21 living at home are included as non-voting Associate Members.
General Public: If you check the monthly calendar on our website and the Discipline areas, you will note various activities available to the General Public. Depending on your interests, there are opportunities to participate in public MRC activities without being a member.
Membership Application Instructions: Links to our membership application forms are at the top of this page. Complete and mail your application to the MRC address (Post Office Box). Do not include payment. Your name will be submitted to the General Membership for Membership approval as space allows. If you are approved, you will be notified by mail.
